2022 Australian Open Racquetball Championships




Applications for the 2022 Australian Open Racquetball Championships are now open!


The tournament will run from the 14th to the 16th of October


Singles from Friday 14th mid-day and Saturday 15th, please specify on signup if you're available on Friday.


Doubles Sunday 16th


Prize of $10,000, free Sweat towel with entry.


Ten courts will be used across 2 facilities, the Commercial Club Albury & Wodonga Squash Racquetball Complex. Finals will be played at both venues. The Open & A Grade Finals will be played at the Commercial Club.


There are multiple levels of entry covering all skill levels, and players are guaranteed at least 2 matches making for a fun event for all.

Restringing

Racquets may be restrung on-site at a reasonable cost, courtesy of Racquet Focus (Chris Breitkopf, 0466 698 950, racquetfocus@gmail.com).


Meals & refreshments

Water, Sports, and Soft drinks are available at the Gymnasium reception or at the Sports Lounge next to the Gymnasium. Being a licensed club, alcoholic beverages are also available – please refer to the Player Responsibilities in relation to alcohol. No alcoholic drinks are allowed in the spectator area of the courts.


Wodonga courts also provide; Water, Sports, and Soft drinks as well as a selection of food.


Accommodation

Albury Wodonga offers accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets; from five star hotels to caravan and cabin parks—many within walking distance to the main venue.

Approx 5km, less than 10 minutes. Head west on Dean St & turn left into Wodonga Pl, continue on Wodonga Pl crossing the Murray River into Victoria, crossing Wodon

ga Ck & going under the Fwy. Turn left at Red Rooster into Osburn St, take the next left at the roundabout, and Wodonga Complex is on your left approximately 40 meters.
